The girls and I made Molly's pumpkin bread this week, as we have every year for a few years now. So good. This time, I made a few muffins from the batter and baked them for about half as long (I don't remember exactly how long, and I don't think you want to take advice from my crazy oven anyway.) Every time I dump *three cups* of sugar into the bowl, I wonder if I can make this a little more healthy. But hey, we only make it once or twice a year.
So we'll be finishing up the last little loaf of this bread this weekend. It matches the drizzly fall weather well today. And so does this music.
I've been an Azure Ray fan for a very long time, and I never quite loved the solo projects of these two women as much as their group efforts. Some crazy chemistry happens when their voices meet. They finally just came out with a new album. Very good music for a quiet autumn Sunday morning. So I'm switching out the "On Heavy Rotation" link over there on the sidebar, from Phoenix to Azure Ray. I've decided to limit my sidebar to one album at a time, since that is how I listen to music anyway; I get obessed with one album at a time.
Here's a free mp3 to the song that has stuck in my ear the most:
And here is a youtube video of the same song if you don't want to commit to a download:
Happy weekend!
